Shoutout to Y11 student, Omari Jackson Whyte who has been selected to progress from the Harlequins U16 team into their U17's team. Omari has done exceptionally well to get himself into the Harlequins rugby set up, and we wish him all the best as he continues on his rugby journey.


On Monday, we celebrated a special lunch for 15 students who received the most lesson excellence awards so far this year.


On Wednesday, our KS5 sport students took to the slopes at Chatham Snowsports Centre. I'm not sure we have any future Olympians, but they all enjoyed it!


On 8 March students from across Y10,12 and 13 listened to an Embracing Equity talk from a law firm called HFW. The Embracing Equity theme aimed to explain the difference between 'equity' and 'equality' and to highlight that equality of opportunity is not always enough on its own.


We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day on Friday 3rd March, with competitions, free book vouchers, discussions about our favourite books and prizes for students who could find the characters from famous novels amongst the school staff!


The Year 7's have won the Battle for Battersea Park Road with a 2-1 victory over St John Bosco.


On Friday our Year 13 English Literature girls visited Harris Academy Peckham for a phenomenal panel discussion and workshop with poet Sophia Thaker. Students crafted their own poems with Chardonnay Mbala performing hers written about a love for God.


Another comfortable win for the boys in green! They beat Elmgreen 33-17 in yesterday's basketball fixture.It was great to see so many members of the girls' team coming down to support and help with the officiating of the game.

Our Y11 historians visited the Imperial War Museum today and tried to crack the code first while completing a ‘treasure hunt’ booklet.


Another great win for the HABS boys coming from behind to secure a 41-38 victory! Well done!


Big shoutout to the U14 girls basketball team for yesterday's victory over St Gabriels.


Well done to our Year 9 student, Kymarley Morrison, who helped Fulham U14's in their 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. Kymarley has also recently been selected to represent the county.

The Prime Minister met students and teachers at school this morning and spoke to them about his ambitions to transform the education system for the better.📚We're prioritising education with £2 billion of extra funding each year for the next two years.

Girls & Boys Basketball Success Versus Elmgreen

HABS girls have done it again, with a solid 33-27 victory over Elmgreen in February. Congratulations to the girls, Coach Kenneth Olakotan and newly appointed Assistant Coach Angus. 

The boys' team also beat Elmgreen 33-17 at the end of February, and it was great to see so many members of the girls' team coming down to support and help with the officiating of the game. A special shoutout to the three Year 7 girls who were selected to play two age groups up in the girls' match.
