Yesterday 12 KS3 students went on another successful PE rewards trip to the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. The students were selected for attending the most extracurricular clubs this half term.


Yesterday, our U14 girls basketball team back in action securing ANOTHER victory against Lillian Bayliss, after only being given a day's notice!


Yesterday the Y9 boys football team battled the elements to finish second in the Wandsworth 6 aside tournament, losing only 1 out of 5 games. The semi-final will be played after Easter, where hopefully the boys can get the job done and bring home a trophy.


Omari Koroma (Y11) is a talented sprinter, having won many medals for HABS. He has been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Jamaica to train with Usain Bolt's coach for 3 weeks! This a fantastic and well deserved opportunity! All the best!


Our U14 boys and girls' basketball teams managed to secure victories with the girls winning 12-6 and the boys winning 28-22 against local rivals, Harris Clapham. Both teams have won the London Basketball League - South A Division and remain undefeated!


Great work from the Sixth Form team and students for organising a female staff and students football match, which obviously saw the staff come out on top with a clinical 7-2 victory.


On Monday, we celebrated a special lunch for 15 students who received the most lesson excellence awards so far this year.


A big shoutout to the Y7 girls Basketball team with a win in their first game yesterday - beating Harris Clapham 18-10!


On Wednesday, our KS5 sport students took to the slopes at Chatham Snowsports Centre. I'm not sure we have any future Olympians, but they all enjoyed it!


On Wednesday evening, we took 80 students from year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 to see a performance of the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. The show was fantastic, and the students were amazed by the sets, costumes and prices of the merchandise!


On 8 March students from across Y10,12 and 13 listened to an Embracing Equity talk from a law firm called HFW. The Embracing Equity theme aimed to explain the difference between 'equity' and 'equality' and to highlight that equality of opportunity is not always enough on its own.


Yesterday some of our wonderful Y12s went for a taster day at Oxford University. The students enjoyed a Q&A session with undergraduates, a tour of the city and impressed the tutor with an interactive lecture about the meaning of life!


Great to see our Y9 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students working through their skills, physical and volunteering sections. Looking forward to the expedition in the Summer term!


We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day on Friday 3rd March, with competitions, free book vouchers, discussions about our favourite books and prizes for students who could find the characters from famous novels amongst the school staff!

The Year 7's have won the Battle for Battersea Park Road with a 2-1 victory over St John Bosco.


On Friday our Year 13 English Literature girls visited Harris Academy Peckham for a phenomenal panel discussion and workshop with poet Sophia Thaker. Students crafted their own poems with Chardonnay Mbala performing hers written about a love for God.


The Year 7's have won the Battle for Battersea Park Road with a 2-1 victory over St John Bosco.


Another comfortable win for the boys in green! They beat Elmgreen 33-17 in yesterday's basketball fixture. It was great to see so many members of the girls' team coming down to support and help with the officiating of the game.


The girls have done it again! Solid 33-27 victory over Elmgreen yesterday. Congrats to the girls, Coach Olakotan (HABS) and newly appointed Assistant Coach Angus. Big shoutout to the 3 year 7 girls, selected to play 2 age groups up!


Great to have so many students in over the half term attending the Greenhouse Basketball Camps run by Coach Ken!
