It is the first ever athletics competition for Y7 and whilst we didn't have the same medal success as last week's competition, all the students showed great attitude and resilience. Shoutout to Y11 student, Omari Jackson Whyte who has been selected to progress from the Harlequins U16 team into their U17's team. On 8 March students from across Y10,12 and 13 listened to an Embracing Equity talk from a law firm called HFW. The Embracing Equity theme aimed to explain the difference between 'equity' and 'equality' and to highlight that equality of opportunity is not always enough on its own. pic.twitter.com/MHKMGwJbk6

On Friday our Year 13 English Literature girls visited Harris Academy Peckham for a phenomenal panel discussion and workshop with poet Sophia Thaker. Students crafted their own poems with Chardonnay Mbala performing hers written about a love for God. pic.twitter.com/TILZSYmhDG
