Lord Harris paid a visit to one of our inspirational Students, Chelsea – who is currently battling Sarcoma


James Peterson, a mental health and wellbeing motivational speaker spoke to all Y12 students on Wednesday. The students were thoroughly engaged throughout, interacting with James' questions, and were described as a "fantastic audience" by the speaker.


The U14 girls basketball team were back in action yesterday with a hard fought 24-20 victory! They are now through to the final where they will face the winners of the East Division. Hopefully the girls and Coach  can bring home some silverware!


Well done to the Y7 & Y8 athletics teams. It is the first ever athletics competition for Y7 and whilst we didn't have the same medal success as last week's competition, all the students showed great attitude and resilience. Plenty to build on for future competitions!


A big shoutout to Y7 student Tyler Pierre-Brown, who last month competed in the World Cheerleading Championships out in Florida. Not only did he compete but he, and Team England, won gold and were crowned World Champions!


Yesterday we had the first athletics competition of the year, with the Y9 and Y10 teams competing in the Wandsworth Athletics Competition. Well done to all students!


On Friday 28th April, 50 students from Year 12 and 13 visited the Houses of Parliament and the Supreme Court. The students' behaviour was exemplary and their questions to the tour guides extremely insightful.


Year 13 had an amazing time at the AQA Grade booster trip! All students attended workshops that helped developed knowledge and skills needed to help maximise their grade for their summer exams.


Shoutout to Y11 student, Omari Jackson Whyte who has been selected to progress from the Harlequins U16 team into their U17's team. Omari has done exceptionally well to get himself into the Harlequins rugby set up, and we wish him all the best as he continues on his rugby journey.


On Monday, we celebrated a special lunch for 15 students who received the most lesson excellence awards so far this year.


On Wednesday, our KS5 sport students took to the slopes at Chatham Snowsports Centre. I'm not sure we have any future Olympians, but they all enjoyed it!


On 8 March students from across Y10,12 and 13 listened to an Embracing Equity talk from a law firm called HFW. The Embracing Equity theme aimed to explain the difference between 'equity' and 'equality' and to highlight that equality of opportunity is not always enough on its own.


We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day on Friday 3rd March, with competitions, free book vouchers, discussions about our favourite books and prizes for students who could find the characters from famous novels amongst the school staff!


The Year 7's have won the Battle for Battersea Park Road with a 2-1 victory over St John Bosco.


On Friday our Year 13 English Literature girls visited Harris Academy Peckham for a phenomenal panel discussion and workshop with poet Sophia Thaker. Students crafted their own poems with Chardonnay Mbala performing hers written about a love for God.


Another comfortable win for the boys in green! They beat Elmgreen 33-17 in yesterday's basketball fixture.It was great to see so many members of the girls' team coming down to support and help with the officiating of the game.


The girls have done it again! Solid 33-27 victory over Elmgreen yesterday. Congrats to the girls, Coach Olakotan (HABS) and newly appointed Assistant Coach Angus.Big shoutout to the 3 year 7 girls, selected to play 2 age groups up!

A great event for all the students involved in the Wandsworth Inclusive Badminton Event. Well done, Battersea team!


Our Y11 historians visited the Imperial War Museum today and tried to crack the code first while completing a ‘treasure hunt’ booklet.

Girls Basketball Team Win 23-18 Against Lilian Baylis

Well done to our girls basketball team for a hard fought 23-18 victory over Lilian Baylis School this week.

This follows the team's victory over St Gabriels earlier in the month too. Well done to all our players!
